SHARES Lecture: ‘Some Aspects of Plural Responsibility as Evidenced by International Jurisprudence’, by Robert Kolb

On 8 May 2014, Professor Robert Kolb will give a lecture entitled: ‘Some Aspects of Plural Responsibility as Evidenced by International Jurisprudence’.

From 1999-2002 Professor Kolb was a lecturer in Public International Law at the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva. From 2002-2007 he was an associate Professor at the University of Bern, and from 2003-2008 an adjunct Professor at the University of Neuchatel. Robert Kolb has also taught at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (and its predecessor institute) as well as the Catholic University of Milan, since 2002. As of 2007 he has been Professor of Public International Law at the University of Geneva. (more…)

SHARES Lecture: ‘International Law – the Law of All Laws’, by Philip Allott

On 3 April 2014, Professor Philip Allott will give a lecture entitled: ‘International Law – the Law of All Laws’.

Philip Allott is Professor Emeritus of International Public Law at the University of Cambridge and a barrister at Gray’s Inn. He has been a Fellow of Trinity College since 1973, and a member of the Law Faculty of the University of Cambridge since 1976.

From 1960 to 1973, he was a legal adviser in the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office and a member of the Diplomatic Service. From 1965 to 1968, he was the legal adviser to the British Military Government in Berlin. (more…)
